Janitor - Full Time - Second Shift

Position Summary:
Position within our Property department based in Northampton doing varied janitorial tasks for our area administrative buildings and clinics as regularly assigned and for coverage as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning buildings; sweeping, mopping, dusting.
- Vacuuming and shampooing carpets as needed.
- Emptying trash/recycling receptacles daily.
- Clean and supply all restrooms.
- Maintain overall appearance of location.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Previous janitorial or building maintenance experience, 1-2 years preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
- Insured and registered Motor Vehicle available for all commute and work hours.
- Physical ability to perform the requirements of the job (see below).
- Careful and thorough with commitment to getting the job done well.
- Acceptable Criminal Background Check (CORI).
Compensation and Benefits:
- $18.50/hr.

Physical Demands:
- Employee is frequently required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Employee must be able to move, lift, push or carry objects weighing 50-100 pounds.
- Ability to talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Ability to position self to push, pull, lift, carry, reach, twist, stop, squat, bend or kneel to perform tasks.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and peripheral vision; reading of written, printed or computer screen data.
- This role may require travel to different offices or program locations.
