Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Full Time or Fee For Service
Location: Franklin County, MA
Pay: $27.50/hour
ServiceNet, a leading Human Services agency, is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant you will be assisting with the implementation of speech and language therapy plans while also delivering these therapy services to our clients under the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of a Speech-Language Pathologist, implement individual treatment programs to remediate or compensate for speech and language and other developmental needs.
- Teach parent and other team members the treatment strategies, provide parents appropriate counsel, support, and advocacy training.
- Maintain clinical and administrative records in a style and timeliness consistent with federal and state regulations and agency and program policies.
- Address parent/family issues and service coordination needs, or do so in consultation with another service coordinator, team leader, and other providers.
- Provide speech and language therapy to clients.
- Maintaining a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with clients, customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Maintaining acceptable attendance record.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Hold and maintain state and national licensure as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant.
- Maintain current infant/adult CPR and First Aid certification.
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children.
- Compliance with all DPH health standards, including background screening.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel.
