As a Site Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily operations at our day program, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and complex behavioral and medical needs. This role involves supervising staff, facilitating vocational and skill-building activities, and ensuring program quality while promoting safety, engagement, and personal growth for participants.
Key Responsibilities
Program Supervision & Oversight
- Assist the Program Director in implementing and monitoring vocational and day training programs tailored to participants’ needs.
- Ensure participants receive appropriate personal care and behavioral supports.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Directly oversee and support staff, ensuring adherence to program protocols, medication administration procedures, and safety standards.
- Provide guidance and training to staff in best practices for personal care, behavioral management, and crisis intervention.
Participant Support & Care
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, hygiene, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect.
- Implement individualized behavioral support plans in collaboration with clinical teams, responding to behavioral incidents with appropriate de-escalation strategies.
- Oversee and ensure compliance with medication administration procedures (MAP certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
Vocational & Skill-Building Support
- Provide hands-on coaching and individualized support to participants in work and skill-building activities tailored to their abilities.
- Facilitate daily transitions between activities, ensuring smooth program operations.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce health, safety, and emergency protocols, ensuring staff preparedness for medical and behavioral emergencies.
- Serve as the acting Program Director in the director’s absence, taking on leadership responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and complex behavioral needs in a day program, residential, or clinical setting.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a human services setting.
- Ability to provide personal care assistance and support individuals with ADLs.
- Training in behavioral management and de-escalation strategies (or willingness to obtain).

- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
