Location: Chicopee, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
Starting Pay: $21/hr

ServiceNet's Skillbuilders Makerspace+ program is an innovative art, technology, and engineering space where individuals with disabilities learn, create, and collaborate. As an Instructor, you'll lead hands-on workshops, mentor participants, and foster skill development in a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Instruct & Mentor: Lead engaging, curriculum-based workshops in art, tech, carpentry, or engineering.

Facilitate Skill Development: Teach technical and trade skills while fostering creativity and problem-solving.

Support Social & Vocational Growth: Guide individuals in communication, socialization, and self-advocacy.

Maintain Tools & Safety: Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure safe use of equipment.

Community Engagement: Organize vocational and creative exploration opportunities.

Data & Compliance: Track participation, maintain records, and collaborate with team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in human services or education.
- High school diploma/GED (Associate’s preferred).

Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, organization, and independent decision-making skills.
Preferred Expertise in One or More Areas:

Arts & Crafts: Leading workshops across multiple artistic disciplines.

Technology & Engineering: Robotics, coding, 3D design, scripting languages.

Maker Labs & Carpentry: Hands-on experience with tools, mechanics, or trade skills.
