ServiceNet is seeking caring and dependable Relief Counselors to help support our residents with brain injuries or those recovering from mental health challenges. This flexible role lets you work in different places and learn valuable skills. This position is perfect for students or anyone interested in social work, psychology, healthcare, or human services. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Support Daily Activities: Help residents with daily tasks like getting dressed, eating, and using special equipment. 
  • Home Care: Prepare meals, clean, do laundry, and grocery shop to make the home feel safe and welcoming. 
  • Transportation: Drive residents to appointments and fun community activities. 
  • Keep Records: Write notes about daily activities and keep track of important information. 
  • Reach Goals: Help residents work on and achieve their personal goals. 
  • Medication Assistance: Give out medication after you are certified. 
  • Stay Trained: Keep up with required training and certifications. 
  • Help with Other Tasks: Complete other tasks assigned by the Program Director or Site Manager.

Shift:  Multiple shifts available, including overnights. 

Qualifications: 
  • Be at least 18 years old. 
  • Valid driver’s license for at least six months and a good driving record. 
  • Basic computer skills (we can teach you if needed). 
  • Physical ability to help residents and keep them safe. 
Pay/Benefits:  
  • $17.50/hr: For individuals with less than 1 year of experience in residential services and without MAP certification
  • $20/hr: For individuals with 1+ years of residential service experience and active MAP certification
    •  Base $18/hr + $2/hr MAP certification bonus
