Developmental Brain Injuries Division (DBIS)
DBIS Hampshire/Hampden/Franklin County Programs
$18.00-$20.00 (Plus FLEX Differential and Mileage)
Position Summary:

Our DBIS staff are professional team members responsible for supporting each individual’s right to live a safe, enjoyable, meaningful life at home and in the community. Position Responsibilities:
- Work in multiple residential locations (Behavioral and/or Brain Injury) assigned by Director.
- Assists residents with ADL's (which may include the use of adaptive equipment); dining guidelines / protocols.
- Help prepare meals, clean, do laundry, grocery shopping, and help keep the home pleasant and comfortable.
- Transportation to/from appointments, community events, etc
- Complete daily shift notes, data tracking, and any other individual record keeping that may be assigned.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual support goals.
- Administer medications (MAP Certified).
- Remain current on agency certifications / trainings.
- Other programmatic tasks assigned by the Program Director / Site Manager.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 6 months; and acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Medication Administration Certificate required.
- CPR / First Aid.
- Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC Restraint Certificate).
- Physical ability to perform the requirements of this position and ensure residents safety.
- Basic computer/office skills.
- Background check (CORI).

- $18.00/hour— $2.00 wage differential for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification.

Position Schedules:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift hours.
- Fulltime / Part-time
- Flexible schedules.
Locations for Hampshire County, MA:
- Amherst, Belchertown, Easthampton, Florence, Granby, Hadley, South Hadley, Ware, Whately, and Williamsburg.
