Coordinator of Substance Use Services
Northampton, Greenfield and Holyoke
Summary:
Licensed substance use professional with knowledge of mental health and substance use disorders and treatment and working with clients with co-occurring disorders in an outpatient community mental health setting. Knowledge of DPH/BSAS requirements and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative oversight of substance use programs in outpatient clinics.
- Join leadership team committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and clinical excellence and work closely with VP and the Program Directors of the Outpatient Clinical services.
- Prepare for re-licensure of clinics by BSAS as needed, working closely with the Director of Operations in the clinics.
- Participate in the development of programs that provide services to the clients in the Outpatient clinics and CCBHC i(Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics) including working as a liaison with programs in the community.
- Ability to create strong teams and work independently.
- Oversee SUDS teams and provide mandated training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in addiction treatment setting and at least 3 years with co-occurring disorders.
- Independent clinical license (LICSW, LMHC) and/or LADC-1 required.
